We are incredibly honored to have been selected as Grand Marshals for the 2025 CNY Pride Parade. SSG has always been proud to be a queer-organized group that is the most inclusive gang in town–where all people with all bodies on all wheels are welcome. If you’re looking for community, support, acceptance or family, we encourage you to join us this month and every month.
Here’s how we’re celebrating Pride this year:
Pride Merch
Now you can show your pride to roll with us with our Pride edition Skate Gang merch! All Pride merch features a special edition “Syracuse Skate Gay” logo and “#skatersgonnaslay” hashtag printed in a rainbow gradient. We’re also excited to announce that both our Pride and regular black & turquoise merch is now available with personalization and is available for purchase year-round and shipped right to your door!

NOTE: Syracuse Skate Gang merch is now DTG (Direct to Garment) printed, as opposed to screen printed if you have merch from the bulk orders we used to place in the past. DTG printing is unfortunately not as durable as screen printing, so caring for these items more carefully will help the quality of the print last longer. All product pages feature care instructions, and some tips Havoc personally recommends and uses include turning items inside out before washing, washing only in cold water, and air drying.

Syracuse Skate Gang Annual Pride Glow Skate

We’ll be celebrating PRIDE on wheels Wednesday, June18th in the NYS Fairgrounds Orange Lot off the OLP West Shore trail (490 Restoration Way).
Drive all the way through the lot off exit 7 of 690 to section H1 by the amphitheater.
Feel free to bring snacks, drinks, chairs and allllll the rainbows and lights!

CNY Pride Parade 2025 Grand Marshals
WHEN: Saturday, June 21st, 10AM Lineup, 11AM Parade Starts

To find a rough approximation of where we are meeting to line up, you can put 561 Solar Street, Syracuse, NY in your GPS!
We will be at the very front of the parade in the lineup, and will have a pace car to help us maintain an ideal speed to lead the parade. Skaters, it’s very important to note that it is critical we keep a manageable pace for the parade, so you must have the control to be able to do that. Picking a walking buddy to help you control your speed is highly encouraged!
Meet Ariel/Havoc and her partner Jazzy at the Parade Staging lot at 10AM. Ariel/Havoc will be wearing a black & rainbow Syracuse Skate Gay shirt, is 5’5, plus-size with curly light brown hair and tattoos of marine life. Jazzy will be wearing something fabulous and is tall and gorgeous with vibrant green hair.
